Tami Hay joins me in conversation from her log-home just east of Edmonton to talk about food as medicine. Tami, a former social worker, is a Spiritual Massage Therapist with 20-years of experience. Tami has been successful in transcended years of debilitating and painful digestive challenges, including Crohn's disease, by learning how the food we eat is critical to our state of health, including our spiritual well-being. In our conversation she talks about how our bodies are too often fooled by designer foods and fast food. We need to teach our bodies how to enjoy healthy local foods, plants, and microbes (literally her local pharmacy).
Tami's forthcoming book (December 2019) titled EarthGut: The Story of Peace, Love, and Microbes provides us with her personal insights into how to improve our personal state of well-being. Tami teaches food classes and integrative health practices.
